March 22, 2013
A bit of electro-pop, a bit of funk, and then a few older songs in the last set. A special note for a song in that set, I don't know much about Freshwater Drum, but I got a cassette way back when when I was working on the University of Waterloo newspaper The Imprint. The rest of the album is just OK, but man the song "Part of your Painting" is just one of the best songs out there. Also in the last set I played Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, who I saw in Toronto recently in a show that truly rocked.
Best song I heard since the last show - Capital Cities - Safe and Sound - See the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWZr2F0qohA
