It seems like so long ago but this was our Christmas show, the nature
of the show is to play a lot of repeats from past years, hence I have
noted the songs that made their debut on this Christmas show. The most
exciting new release was from Mint records out of Vancouver, it was a
5 song vinyl single with one of my favourite new Christmas songs:
Dave N' Megan's I Wanna Kiss you this Christmas.
Today's show (January 5) is going to be the Official Fireball XL5
best of 2000 show, the name says it all. However, at the time I'm
writing this I still haven't finalized my top 4 for the year. I'm
also still looking for your top 3 picks of the year, so if you haven't
got back to me you still have a chance to voice your opinion and send
my your favourite top 3 releases of the year.

December 8, 2000
Not that any of you will get this before the next show, in fact many
of you are probably reading this in the new year (or ignoring it in
the new year as the case may be). But I wanted to say that I actually
got this out before the next show, which of course will be the
Christmas show on December 22.
As well, it is the end of the year, so the show after this one will be the official
Fireball XL5 Best of 2000. This means I need some audience participation, so I would like everybody to send in their best 3 albums of the year 2000.
Merry Christmas to all my loyal listeners! Thanks for making this
the best year of Fireball XL5 ever.
