Theme: The Gig Theatre, Au Revoir Simone, Best of 2007, and Juno On Air: Frank

There was a set of music that was bookended by a couple of bands that were playing The Gig Theatre that night and now that CKMS has wireless internet I was able to play songs directly from the Myspace pages of the local bands, that was pretty cool. There was a set of music inspired by the band "Au Revoir Simone" whom I saw the week before this show in Toronto (Do you know where that name came from? Answer is after the setlist). I started this set with a cover they did for their encore by David Bowie, with the average age of the audience I'm sure that only about 3 people there recognized the song. Luckily, I was standing beside one of them (Derek). After playing Au Revoir Simone the rest of the set was just kind of low-fi stuff that reminded me of the show.
